Hardened
Wireless Solutions
Secure data communications in hard to
reach places. This is a common problem faced by many
agencies. Even more so when the data is going to be
networked. GE / Microwave Data, offers a complete series
of wireless products for hardened applications to solve
such dilemmas.
GE / Microwave Data sells both licensed
radio (130mhz to 5.8ghz frequencies) and unlicensed
spread-spectrum radio (902-928mhz frequencies) that
are hardened and designed for industrialized markets.
| The
iNET 900 radios offer an optimal mix of performance,
reliability, security, speed and distance without
the need of an FCC license. The iNET900 can transmit
up to 512kps of data, up to 30 miles distance
using serial and/or ethernet communications. It
can also be used as a gateway from serial/legacy
networks to other network devices such as ethernet
switches. |
|
| The
iNET II radios offer improved performance over
the standard iNET900 with transmit speeds up to
1Mbps of data. This allows for near full motion
video over wireless, for surveillance applications. |
|
| The
TransNET 900 radios offer a low cost solution
for license free serial communications. The TransNET
can transmit up to 115kps of data and it has a
sleep mode using 7mA of power which makes it ideal
for solar or SCADA applications where date retrieval
needs are infrequent. |
|
| The
Mercury 900 radios offer multi-megabit speeds
of up to 8Mb is optimal conditions. With a 25
mile range, these radios allow for streaming video,
VoIP or mobile data communications in a highly
robust and secure system. The Mercury is state
of art technology for the 900Mhz spread spectrum
frequencies. |
